Protect the cutting disc against impact and shock.

Do not subject the cutting disc to lateral pressure.

Do not load the machine so heavily that it

comes to a standstill.

Advancing too fast considerably reduces the

performance capabilities of the machine and

shortens the service life of the cutting disk.

The cutting disk becomes very hot while work-

ing; do not take hold of it until it has cooled.

Use only cutting disks that are suitable for the

material to be worked.

Depth stop

As delivered, the depth stop 4 is set so that a new

355 mm cutting disk does not touch the base plate

when sawing. To compensate for the wear of the

cutting disk, the depth stop can be set deeper.

With the use of a new cutting disk, the depth

stop must then always be set back to the origi-

nal position.

Always adjust the depth stop so that the

cutting disk does not touch the base

plate when sawing.

Adjusting the Depth Stop

Before all work on the machine, pull the

power plug.

Loosen the locking nut 5 with the open-end

wrench 8 (13 mm) provided. Swing the tool arm 3

with the handle 1 to the desired position.

Screw the depth stop 4 in the clockwise or

counter clockwise direction until the bolt head

rests on the housing.

Guide the tool arm 3 slowly upward and tighten

the locking nut 5.

Maintenance

Should the machine fail in spite of careful man-

ufacturing and testing p roced ures, have the

repairs performed by an authorized customer

service location for Bosch electro_tools.

For inquiries and spare parts ordering, please

include the 10-digit order number on the name-

plate of the machine.

Always keep the machine and the ventilation slits

clean for efcient and safe working. When work-

ing with metal under extreme conditions, conduc-

tive dust can be deposited on the interior of the

machine. In such cases, frequently blow out the

machine through the ventilation slits and connect

by means of a fault current circuit breaker (FI).

The pendulum protective hood must always be

able to move freely and close by itself. There-

fore, always keep the area around the pendu-

lum protective hood clean.

Guarantee

We guarantee Bosch appliances in accordance

with statutory/country-specic regulations

(proof of purchase by invoice or delivery note).

Damage attributable to normal wear and tear,

overload or improper handling will be excluded

from the guarantee.

In case of complaint please send the machine,

undismantled, to your dealer or the Bosch

Service Center for Electric Power Tools.

Warning!

Freight and insurance costs are charged to the

client, even for warranty claims.

Environmental protection

Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste.

The machine, accessories and packaging should

be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.

The plastic components are labelled for catego-

rized recycling.
