SAFETY STICKERS

Your brushcutter must be used with care.

For this reason, adhesive labels in the form of pictograms have

been placed on the machine to remind you of the main operating

precautions. Their meanings are specied below. These labels are

considered to be an integral part of the machine. If any of them

comes off or becomes difcult to read, please contact your dealer to

replace it. We also recommend that you should carefully read all the

safety instructions (see page 2).

[1] WARNING: Read the owner’s manual before using the machine.

[2] WARNING: Projection hazard. Ensure that all people and animals stay

at a minimum distance of 15 m when you operate the machine.

[3] Always wear goggles, a hard hat and any other necessary protective

accessories to protect your eyes and body from objects (such as

gravel, glass or pieces of metal) thrown up by the cutting attachment.

[4] The brushcutter is to be used with a nylon or a metal disc line cutting

attachment only. Do not use a circular saw blade with the standard

protector.

[5] Cutting attachment rotation speed.

[6] The engine emits toxic carbon monoxide. Do not run in an enclosed area.

[7] Petrol is highly ammable. Stop the engine before refueling.

[8] Do not adjust the handle beyond the black line as indicated by the arrow mark.

[9] Machine tted with a cutting blade can be thrown violently to the side when

the blade comes into contact with solid object.

To prevent accidental contact with the wheeling cutting blade, keep people

and pets at least 15 m away from the brushcutter when it is in use.
