Asthecoloursofthewireinthemains leadofthisappliancemay
notcorrespondwiththecolouredmarkingsidentifyingtheterminals
inyourplug,proceedasfollows:
ThewirewhichiscolouredGreen-and-Yellowmustbeconnectedto
theterminalintheplugwhichismarkedwiththeletterEorbythe
symbol orcolouredGreenorGreen-and-Yellow.Thewirewhich
iscolouredBluemustbeconnectedtotheterminalwhichismarked
with the letter N orcoloured Black.Thewire whichiscoloured
Brownmustbeconnectedtotheterminalwhichismarkedwiththe
letterLorcolouredRed.
* Shouldthesocketoutletsintheinstallationsitenotbesuitablefor
theplugsuppliedwithyourproduct,theplugmustberemoved(cut
offifitismouldedonplug)andanappropriateplugtted.
Ifthenon-rewirableplughasbeencutfromthepowersupplycord,
it mustbedisposed of.There should be noattempttoreuse it.
Insertingsuchaplugintoasocketelsewherepresentsaseriousrisk
ofelectricalshock.
* The non-rewirableplug must never be used without afusecover
beingtted.
Thecorrectreplacementforthedetachablefusecoverisidentiable
fromthemanufacturer’sreferencenumberstampedontheplug.
SupplyofreplacementfusecoverscanbeobtainedfromHoshizaki
Parts/ServiceCentres.

5. WATER SUPPLY AND DRAIN CONNECTIONS
WARNING
Onlypotablewatershouldbeusedforthisicemaker.
* The connections to the mains water supply must bemade in
accordancewiththe countries’ current requirements of theWater
SupplyorWaterFittingsRegulations.
* Watersupplypressureshouldbeminimum0.05MPa(0.5bar)and
maximum 0.78 MPa (8 bar). If the pressureexceeds 0.78 MPa
(8 bar),use a pressurereducingvalve.Do NOT throttle backthe
supplytap.
* Besuretousethenewhose-setssuppliedwiththeappliance.Do
notreuseanyoldhose-sets.
* A plumbing permit and services of alicensed plumber may be
requiredinsomeareas.
* Watershoulddrainintoanopentrap.
* The icemaker drain is gravity flow,so ensure drain pipe has an
adequatepitchorfall.
* TopreventabackowintotheStorageBin,theoutlethosemustbe
laidasshowninFig.2.

2)Hand tighten grey exibleoutlet hose(accessory) onto the tting
ontherearoftheicemakerasindicated(Fig.3),ensuringrubber
sealing washer iscorrectly positioned to obtain a leak freejoint.
Thepipecanbecuttolengthasnecessarytosuitpositionofmain
drain.To prevent water leaks,securetheoutlethosetothe drain
outletbyusingahoseband.
Note: Jointingcompounds should be approved and suitable for
potablewateruse.
