Selecting a station manually:

Fully extend the telescopic aerial. It is located in a lock on the rear of the radio.

Press the RADIO button.

Press and hold the DOWN or UP button until “SCN” appears on the display.

Press DOWN or UP repeatedly in 0.1 MHz increments to set the desired frequency.

The manual setting function remains active for approximately 5 seconds. Once

“SCN” disappears from the display, the function is automatically disabled.

Alarm:

You can wake up to a radio station or a default alarm sound.

Waking up to a radio station:

1. Turn on the device and select the desired radio station.

2. Press and hold MODE until the frequency ashes a few times and two

speaker symbols appear on the upper part of the display.

3. Press RADIO to turn off the device.

Press MODE twice. The display will show “RDO”.

Use the UP button to toggle the alarm function on or off.

On: The upper part of the display shows the selected frequency and two speaker

symbols.

Off: The display shows - - -.

Press and hold MODE until the hour digit of the alarm time starts ashing.

Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm hour.

Press MODE.

Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm minute.

Press MODE.

Waking up to a default alarm sound:

The device must be off (displaying temperature, day, and date).

Press the MODE button. The display will show “ALM”.

Press the UP button. The display will show a bell symbol, enabling the alarm

function.

Press and hold MODE until the hour digit of the alarm time starts ashing.

Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm hour.

Press MODE.

Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm minute.

Press MODE twice.

Being awakened:

At the set time, the selected alarm source (radio or default alarm sound) will acti-

vate. If the radio is selected, the volume will gradually increase until the maximum

alarm volume (“12”) is reached.

Auto-stop function:

If no button is pressed, the alarm will turn off automatically after 1 minute.

The radio will turn off automatically after approximately 30 minutes.

Interrupting an alarm function for 24 hours:

Wake up to radio: Press the RADIO button to interrupt the alarm. The alarm will acti-

vate at the same time the next day (the bell symbol will remain on the display).

Turning the alarm off completely:

The device must be off (displaying temperature, day, and date).

Press MODE for “ALM” to appear on the display.

Press UP to remove the bell symbol. This disables the default alarm function (“Wake

up to an alarm sound”).

Press MODE again.

Press UP. The speaker symbols will disappear, and - - - will appear on the display,

disabling the radio alarm function.

Press MODE once or twice to return to normal mode.

Tips for the alarm function:

You can combine different alarm sources (e.g., alarm sound at 07:00 and radio at

07:30).

With the radio off, press MODE repeatedly to review set alarm times. You can also set

both alarm sources for the same time.

Resetting the radio:

Reset the radio to its default settings if the device is unresponsive, reacts incorrectly

to key presses, or the display shows unusual indications.

Remove the batteries from the battery compartment and wait briey.

Reinsert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

For mains adapter use, disconnect it briey from the mains and reconnect it.

Changing the temperature unit:

With the radio off, press UP briey to switch between degrees Celsius (°C) and

degrees Fahrenheit (°F).
