Disassemble the diuser/brackets from the xture:

1) Remove the top two screws that secure the brackets to the

canopy.

2) Grabbing the side brackets/trim, slide the brackets down ward

to unlock from keyhole posion. Pull outward to remove.

Mounng the xture:

3) Thread hexnut onto the threaded pipe about 1/4 inch.

4) Screw the same end of threaded pipe into hole in center of

mounng strap so a few threads are exposed on the extruded

side of mounng strap. Tighten the hexnut.

5) Connect the mounng strap to the outlet box with the strap

mounng screws.

6) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. A or B)

a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole

and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet

box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.

b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided, put

ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer

and green ground screw and thread screw into hole in

mounng strap.

If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground

wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector aer

following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black

or white power supply wires.

7) Make wire connecons. Reference chart below for correct

connecons and wire accordingly.

Connect Black or Red

Supply Wire to:

*Note: When parallel wire (SPT 1 &

SPT 2) are used. The neutral wire

is square shaped or ridged and the

other wire will be round in shape or

smooth (See illus.) Neutral Wire

8) Carefully push wire connecons back into outlet box making

sure all connecons remain secure.

9) Push xture to wall, pass the center hole of the xture over

the threaded pipe on the mounng strap.

10) Slip the spacer onto the threaded pipe and into the center of

the module hole. (If there isn’t enough room for a lock washer

and hexnut to thread aer the spacer, you will need to adjust

the threaded pipe)

11) Slip lockwasher over threaded pipe. Thread hexnut onto the

threaded pipe. Tighten to secure.

Re-aach the diuser/brackets to the xture:

12) Grabbing the side brackets/trim, align the screws of the

backside of the bracket to the larger hole of the canopy

keyslots

13) Slide the brackets upward to lock into keyslots. Align the holes

on the bracket tabs (at the top ) with the holes on the canopy.

14) Thread the top two screws to secure the brackets/diuser to

the canopy.

CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –

Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main

fusebox before starng and during the installaon.

WARNING:

This xture is intended for installaon in accordance with the

Naonal Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specicaons.

If you are not familiar with code requirements, installaon by a

cered electrician is recommended.

DIMMING:

This LED xture is compable with most standard incandescent

dimmers, LED dimmers, and electronic low voltage dimmers.

For opmal performance, an electronic low voltage dimmer should

be used.

See kichler.com/dimming for a list of compable dimmers.

CLEANING:

• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before

cleaning.

• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning

products may damage the nish.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operaon is subject to

interference to radio or television recepon, which can be determined by

turning the equipment o and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct

the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

• Increase the separaon between the equipment and receiver.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit dierent from that to

which the receiver is connected.

• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
