Pairing the speaker with your mobile device

Using the speaker with Bluetooth

® technology

1. Answering and ending a call using your mobile device

While charging, the LED is solid red. When the battery has reached full capacity,

the red LED will go off.

When the battery is running low, a tone will be generated once every few

seconds to warn you before it is totally drained.

Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device has the built-in

Bluetooth

feature available. If your device is not Bluetooth

-enabled, you must

purchase a Bluetooth

receiver.

When the speaker asks if you want to pair with it, click Yes or OK to accept.

If you have a lower Bluetooth

version, you may be prompted to enter the

passkey 0000 (4 zeros).

If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard and the blue LED will start blinking

slowly to confirm that the connection has been established. If after 60 seconds

the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 7 described above.

We recommend turning off the device when not in use, to conserve battery

power.

When there is an incoming call, the speaker will generate a tone to alert you of

this event.

Briefly press the Handset button to pick up. You may also press the answer

button on your cellular phone to take the call using the speaker.

Speak with a clear voice right into the built-in microphone located on the side of

the speaker.

To end a call, tap the Handset button once again. Likewise, you may also end the

call directly using the command on your cell phone.

When listening to music using your mobile phone, playback will resume

automatically once the call has ended.

By pressing the Handset button twice, the phone will dial the last number called

(supported devices).

Make sure the speaker is off.

Place both devices not more than one meter away from each other.

Verify that the Bluetooth

function on your mobile device has been enabled.

Press and hold the power button on the speaker to turn it on.

The LED first blinks fast to indicate that the device has entered into the pairing

mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.

For mobile devices that are NFC-capable, simply place it close to the sensor

located on the side, to instantly establish a Bluetooth

connection, in a convenient

one-step pairing configuration.

On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (KWS-614)

displayed in the Bluetooth

list.
