Manual de uso

 Kettle is only to be used with the base provided.

3. FILL THE KETTLE WITH THE DESIRED AMOUNT OF WATER. (ﬁg 4)

 Never ﬁll the kettle when it is on its base.

 Do not ﬁll it above the maximum level, or below the minimum level. If the kettle is too

full, boiling water may spill out.

 Do not use without water.

 Check that the lid is closed properly before use.

4. POSITION THE KETTLE ON ITS BASE. PLUG IT INTO THE MAINS SOCKET.

5. TO START THE KETTLE

 Press the on/off button on the base).

 The temperature of the water in the kettle is displayed on the screen.

TO BOIL THE WATER

2 options:

– If you would like to boil the kettle, press the button.

– If you would like to choose your own temperature (7 options: 100° - 95° - 90° -

85° - 80° - 70° - 60°), press the button until you reach the desired temperature.

 Once the temperature has been chosen (either with the or button) the

boiling cycle will begin automatically after 2 seconds, and will stop once the selected

temperature has been reached (accurate to +/- 3°C).

 To stop the cycle once it is under way, press the selected button once again (either

the or button).

KEEP WARM FUNCTION

 Your kettle has a ‘keep warm’ function . If you have selected a temperature

beforehand, the water will be heated to this temperature and then kept at this

temperature for 1 hour; if not then it will be kept warm at 60°C.

 The maximum permitted temperature for the Keep Warm function is 95°C.

NOTE

 The screen will turn off automatically after 30 minutes (standby mode) but all the

buttons will remain active. This means that pressing any button will switch the screen

back on.

 If you use the button to select a temperature less than that of the water already in

the kettle, the function will not be activated and the cycle will not start.

Example: if the water is 90°C, you will not be able to start cycles for temperatures of

60°C/70°C/80°C/85°C.



Recommended temperatures :

– 70°C : white tea/green tea

– 90°C : black tea

– 100°C : boiling water/infusions

6. THE KETTLE WILL SWITCH OFF AUTOMATICALLY

 As soon as the water reaches boiling point or the chosen temperature.

 Do not leave water in the kettle after use as this quickens the formation of scale.
