you to install a residual current device
(RCD) in the electrical circuit that
supplies the bathroom. This RCD
must have a rated residual operating
current not higher than 30mA. Ask
your installer for advice.

air grilles to avoid electric shock.
• Never block the air grilles.
• Before you connect the appliance,
ensure that the voltage indicated on
the appliance corresponds to the local
power voltage.
• Do not use the appliance for any

2 Dry your hair
1 Connect the plug to a power supply socket.
2 Select a suitable attachment for drying or styling and attach it to the
dryer ( a ).
3 Adjust the temperature switch ( c ) and airow switch ( d ) to
the desired position. Press and hold the cold shot button ( b )
for cold airow to x your style after drying or styling.

4 ( BHD173, BHD176 only ) Press and hold the cold shot button
( b ) for cold airow to x your style after drying or styling.
( BHD177 only ) Press ONCE the cold shot button ( b ) for cold
airow to x your style after drying or styling. The blue LED will light up.
Press ONCE again to turn off the cold shot feature. The blue LED will
be switched off as well.
Concentrator ( f )
• To straighten your hair (Fig.2-C)
1 Select a hair strand that is not wider than 5cm.
2 Start with the round brush near the roots of the hair and lift the hair
upward while blow drying along the hair from roots to ends with
full tension.
• To create icks at hair ends (Fig.2-D)
1 Straighten your hair refer to the rst section “ To straighten your
hair” until it reaches the hair ends.
2 Slightly twist your wrist and turn the round brush underneath half
inwards (or outwards) to create icks.
Diffuser ( e ) ( BHD176, BHD177 only )
• To enhance your natural volume and maintain your curls, hold the
hairdryer vertically and place the hair in a circular motion in between
pins and move towards scalp slowly. ( Fig.2-A )
• To add volume at the roots, insert the pins into your hair by making
rotating movements. It helps to dry your hair roots and scalp without
hotspot.( Fig.2-B )
After use:
1 Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
2 Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
3 To disconnect the attachment, pull it off the hairdryer.
4 Take the air inlet grille ( h ) off the appliance to remove hair
or dust.
5 Clean the appliance by damp cloth.
6 Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust. You can also hang it with
the hanging loop ( g ).

2 Secado del cabello
1 Enchufe la clavija a una toma de corriente.
2 Seleccione un accesorio adecuado para secar o moldear el cabello y
colóquelo en el secador ( a ).
3 Ajuste el botón de temperatura ( c ) y el de ujo de aire ( d )
en la posición deseada. Mantenga pulsado el botón de ujo de aire
frío ( b ) para jar el peinado con aire frío después del secado
o moldeado.
