POWER INVERTER 12V DC / 230 V AC - 150 W

WARNING IMPORTANT SECURITY ADVICE

Take care to plug in your appliances only after having plugged in and turned on your PINB15ØU device. Do not use

this device with fluorescent lamps. This unit produces alternating current of 230 V and is not to be put in children’s

hands. Even when the unit has been turned off, there can still be 230 V AC at the outlet of a while. Must not be

operated under adverse circumstances such as : temperatures above 50°C, inflammable gas, solvents, vapours,

dust, humidity over 80% rel. or water. The unit must only be operated in closed, dry rooms. When replacing the fuses,

ensure the new fuse is of an identical type. By-passing the security circuit or using modified fuses is prohibited.

CORRECT APPLICATION OF THE POWER TRAVEL DC/AC:

• Transformation of 12V DC into 230 V / 50 Hz AC.

• Only devices with a maximum power consumption of 150 Watts at 230 V AC must be connected.

The “power-on” or short-time consumption must not exceed 300 Watts.

• Only devices with safety classification II (without earth connector) must be connected.

These devices are normally equipped with a Euro-plug.

• Connection devices with safety classification I (with external earth connector) can cause danger to life.

EQUIPMENT AND CONTROL ELEMENTS

1. 230 V AC outlet - Euro-socket.

2. On-Off-Switch.

3. 12 V/15 A input fuse located in the car plug (to be unscrewed to change it).

4. 12 V DC / DC-connector-lighter plug.

UNIT DOES NOT FUNCTION - PROBABLE CAUSES

• Check fuse, replace if necessary.

• Short time consumption of 300 Watts or continuous consumption of 150 Watts on AC outlet has been exceeded.

• Check connections.

• Clean lighter socket.

Low battery warning: bleu flash.

Overheatin: bleu flash.

• Output current: 230V

• Continuous power: 150W

• Surge power: 300W

• Output frequency:

50Hz (+/-3%)

• AC Regulation:

+/- 8%

• No load current draw: 0,2 A

• DC Voltage (12V):

9,5 to 16 V

• Efficiency: > 85 %

• Voltage required between

9,5 V and 16 V (+/- 0,5V)

• Automatic cut-off in case

of under-voltage or over-voltage

• Over temperature

(before shutting off) : 55° (+/- 5%)

• Sine wave type:

Modified sine wave

• Short circuit protection: Shut down

• Battery polarity reverse: Fuse

• Over load protection:

Re-start two times,

shut down if failed
