KSC-4217 User Manual

• Cleaning coated or polished surfaces

Doors, parquet floors, kitchen cabinets, furniture etc. When cleaning painted or plastic-coated surfaces, the protective

substance, polish or paint on the surface may dissolve or stains may occur. Before cleaning these surfaces, briefly

steam a piece of cloth and wipe the surfaces with this cloth.

ATTENTION

Do not direct the steam towards glued edges as the glue may dissolve. Do not use the appliance to clean unvarnished

wooden or parquet floors.

• Cleaning the laundry:

Before using the steam cleaner, test the machine on an inconspicuous part of the textile surface: first emit steam,

then dry it and then check the change in color and shape.

• Cleaning the windows

At low temperatures, especially in winter, warm the windows by lightly spraying steam over the entire glass surface.

In this way, tensions on the surface that could cause the glass to break are prevented.

Then, clean the window surface with the hand nozzle and cover. Use a window squeegee to remove water or wipe

the surfaces dry.

ATTENTION

To avoid damage, do not direct the steam towards the varnished areas of the window frame.

• Cleaning the floorboards:

It is recommended to sweep or vacuum the floor before using the steam cleaner. In this way, dirt/loose particles from

the floor are removed before wet cleaning.

You can use the steam gun without accessories,

For example:

– To remove odors and folds from hanging clothing items by spraying steam from a distance of 10-20 cm.

– Removing dust on plants. Maintain a distance of 20-40 cm at this time.

– To wipe dust damply by briefly spraying steam on a cloth and wiping the furniture with it.

If the amount of steam decreases during operation and then no steam comes out, water must be added to the boiler.

Unplug the device from the socket.

Press the steam lever until no steam is sprayed out. Thus, the pressure in the tank of the device disappears completely.

Remove the safety lock from the device.

Fill clean purified water into the tank.

Screw the safety lock back onto the device.

Plug the power plug into the socket.

The red Heater control light will turn green in about 7 minutes.

The steam cleaner is ready for operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• When cleaning is finished, unplug the power cord.

• Press the steam button to release the pressure until no steam comes out.

• Release the steam slowly until no more steam comes out. Then, make sure the machine cools down for about five

minutes.

• Drain any remaining water from the tank and clean the outer surface with a piece of dry cloth.

If you always use distilled water, there is no need to descale the device.
